GIP implemented multiple marketing strategies for the Lucas County Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program, (UMADAOP) non-profit organization. We started with a website redesign, social media marketing and redesign. Global Insight created three one-of-a-kind scripts and turned them into animated videos to help explain sensitive information. The animated videos are displayed in the patient waiting area of the organization and displayed on their website. We are also in the production process of creating a documentary. This documentary will preserve the historic events that lead the 40 years of work UMADAOP has done for multiple counties across Ohio. We currently maintain their website presence and social media marketing. Future projects include a podcast speaking about various topics.
SPF - PFS
In 2016, we began to work on the Partnership for Success (PFS), an extension of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). We are currently maintaining this website adding pertinent information to the site as it relates to substance abuse. For this project we worked directly with Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs and the OhioMHAS teams. On this website we helped produced all of the video and animations. We also, worked closely with OhioMHAS IT department to layout and design the website.
We produced, edited and added various videos to the site for training and technical assistance from community overviews for all ten communities. We also produced the explainer videos of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Partner for Success (PFS) process. We also assist the team in providing creative content for substance abuse and mental health promotions. We currently still maintain this website.

A successful business man and leader, Mark is an international radio talk show host, educational consultant and author of Teachers are Heroes and S.E.R.V.I.C.E. is Everything!!!
Mark has appeared on various radio shows and within numerous publications. He has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox affiliates, along with Forbes magazine. Mark was a featured guest on the Brian Tracy Show and is a leading columnist for Fostering Families Today magazine.
His book and keynote address, Teachers Are Heroes, has placed Mark at the top of the list as a leading expert within the K-12 educational industry. He has spoken for numerous school systems on topics such as Teacher Leadership, School Climate, Student Achievement, Service Excellence and Maximizing Human Potential.
The Ohio Mental Health and Addictive Services Department wanted to closely work with the communities around the state of Ohio to address the Opioid epidemic. We worked closely with their IT Department to build a website where the community leaders can access the information easily and incorporate the concepts and methods from the Collective Impact Leadership Team. We conducted researched and assisted in designing the website.
Ohio Adult Allies
Young people need the guidance of adults in order to engage in the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF)and implement a strategic plan that uses evidence-based strategies to influence community-level change.The Individual and Group Strategic Plan Map is designed to help adult allies articulate a theory of change and theory of action for developing young people’s knowledge, skills and attitudes to engage in this process.
SCC Teen Leadership Academy
Southside Community Collaborative, Teen Leadership Academy, (SCC), a non-profit organization that was developed to address mental wellness in their community, hired Global Insight Productions, to collaborate with them on multiple projects. Initially, GIP was hired by the non-profit organization to build a website for them that would help tell the story of the non-profit organization, pull in more sponsorships and bring awareness to the organization. We educated the youth on how to build a social media presence, provided basic marketing techniques, powerpoint presentation techniques, create a script and produced an explainer video for the website and for potential sponsors. We also created and designed their logo. GIP was an active participant of SCC desire to create a social media campaign on, “What would good look like?” or WWGLL. The purpose of the campaign is to bring awareness in our Urban communities about our struggles with mental health and workforce development and how we can come together and address those issues.
East Columbus Development Company, Inc. (ECDC) is a not-for-profit certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) which has been a mainstream in the community and incorporated in 2003 for the purpose of revitalization of the Near East Side and King Lincoln District. ECDC has been empowering people and building communities one block at a time. As we continue to press forward and make change for the greater good of all residents on the Near East and Far East side of Greater Columbus, we recognize the need to create innovative partnerships so we can strive to impact change for a better tomorrow, today.
